01.Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small values that a browser can store and send with later website requests. Local storage is a separate browser mechanism that remembers information between visits. This policy covers these and similar technologies where applicable.
Critello uses first-party local storage to remember category preferences. The preference applies to the browser and site where you save it; it is not shared automatically across devices and does not identify you across unrelated websites.
02.Essential preference storage
Name: critello.cookie-consent.v1. Type: first-party local storage. Purpose: remember your analytics and marketing category choices, a version number and the time of your choice. Duration: up to 180 days from the last saved preference.
The stored value does not contain a name, email address, password, browsing history, wallet address or reward balance. After the preference expires, the website requests a new choice. Clearing site storage in your browser removes it earlier.
If your browser blocks storage, the selection applies for the current visit and may be requested again later. The interface tells you when it cannot save a preference. Essential preference storage can be blocked through browser controls, but it cannot be switched off independently inside Cookie Settings.
03.Analytics preferences
The analytics category concerns measurement of page use, navigation and performance. Such measurement can help identify errors and improve a website. Selecting this category records your permission for the stated purpose; it is not consent for unrelated advertising.
Where analytics storage requires consent, it must remain subject to your choice. Any technology used for this purpose must be covered by the relevant notice, including its provider, data, storage period and any transfer arrangements. You can change the category at any time in Cookie Settings.
04.Marketing and attribution preferences
Marketing and attribution technologies can connect a promotion, referral or offer link with a later qualifying action. The category preference records your choice about that purpose. It does not subscribe you to an email list, make a purchase or request a reward.
A third-party offer may have its own attribution requirements and privacy notice. Review those requirements before opening the activity. Agreement to a category on Critello does not automatically cover every external app, provider or website.
05.Making and changing your choice
The banner offers Accept all, Essential only and a link to settings. Optional categories start disabled. Cookie Settings lets you select categories individually, save preferences, accept all or reject optional categories. The footer links to these settings on every page.
You can withdraw a category choice by disabling it and saving again. Your updated choice applies going forward. Clearing browser storage removes the saved selection, and a different browser or device requires its own choice.
06.Browser controls and external services
Most browsers let you inspect, delete or block site storage in their privacy settings. Instructions differ by browser. Blocking all storage can cause the preference request to appear again because the website cannot remember your selection. Private browsing may delete the preference when the session ends.
External apps, advertisers and payment services manage their own cookies and storage. Critello cannot alter those settings on your behalf. Review their notices, particularly when tracking permission is part of eligibility for a particular activity.
07.Updates and questions
This policy is effective 29 October 2026. A material change to the purpose of a technology requires appropriate notice and, where required, a fresh consent request. Your saved preference must not be treated as blanket permission for unrelated processing.
