01.Scope and contact
This notice explains information handling in connection with critello.com. It applies to the Critello website and communications sent to its designated contact addresses. Third-party websites, research providers, apps and payment services have their own privacy notices.
For privacy enquiries, contact privacy@critello.com. For general service questions, use support@critello.com. Explain your request clearly and avoid including passwords, complete payment details, recovery phrases or unnecessary identity documents.
02.Information you provide
When you submit a form, the information you enter can include an email address and password. A support request can include contact information, a description of the issue and attachments you choose to provide. Submit only information necessary for the purpose of the request.
Information required by an activity or payout provider depends on its service. It can include eligibility answers, an activity reference, completion evidence or payment instructions. Review the provider's notice before submitting. An ordinary survey or support message should not ask for your password or wallet recovery phrase.
03.Technical information and browser preferences
Requests to a website include technical information such as an IP address, URL, request time, browser headers and device information. Hosting and infrastructure services can process this information to deliver content, maintain security and investigate faults.
Critello stores your category choices in first-party browser storage so the website can remember your privacy preference. The stored value includes the selected categories, a timestamp and a version number. It does not contain your email address, password or reward details. See the Cookie Policy for the storage inventory and duration.
04.Purposes and legal bases
Information is processed only for a relevant purpose, such as responding to a request, delivering requested functionality, protecting the service, resolving a dispute or complying with an applicable legal obligation. The appropriate legal basis depends on the processing and the law that applies.
Website delivery and proportionate security can support legitimate interests, subject to users' rights and the required balancing assessment. Handling a request can be necessary to take steps at your direction or perform an agreement. Legally required records can be processed to comply with the relevant obligation.
Where consent is required for non-essential analytics or marketing storage, those purposes require your choice first. You can withdraw or change a category preference in Cookie Settings. Rejection of optional categories does not prevent access to the website's basic information.
05.Sharing and third-party activities
Hosting, infrastructure and support providers may handle information needed to deliver their services. Access should be limited to the relevant purpose and protected by appropriate confidentiality and security arrangements. Information can also be disclosed where required by valid legal process or necessary to protect legal rights.
An advertiser, research provider, app or payment service may act independently when you interact with it. Its notice should explain its own collection, tracking permissions, recipients, retention and international transfers. Displaying a payment logo or linking to a service does not by itself send that provider your account information.
Do not assume that a preference saved on Critello consents to every external website or app. Review each provider's notice and choose whether to proceed, particularly when a study involves recordings, sensitive answers or identity checks.
06.Retention and security
Information should be kept only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, applicable legal requirements and the proportionate resolution of disputes. The relevant period can depend on the type of information, accounting duties, security needs and limitation periods.
The browser consent preference remains valid for up to 180 days from the last saved choice. Clearing site storage removes it sooner. Ask the privacy contact about information relating to a particular request or interaction if you need more detail.
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards should reflect the information and risks involved. No internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and contact support promptly about suspected misuse. Never send credentials or recovery phrases in an attachment.
07.Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict processing, object to certain uses, withdraw consent or appeal a decision. You can also contact the privacy regulator with jurisdiction over your circumstances.
To make a request, contact privacy@critello.com with enough information to describe it. A proportionate identity check may be needed before disclosing or changing personal information. Where verification is necessary, only the minimum suitable information should be requested. Applicable deadlines and exceptions depend on the relevant law.
You can change optional category preferences without creating an account. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing lawfully performed before withdrawal. Removing browser storage causes the website to request your preference again.
08.Age, international transfers and decisions
Critello is intended for adults aged 18 or over. If information has been provided by a child, contact the privacy address so the issue can be assessed and appropriate action taken.
When information is transferred across borders subject to legal restrictions, an appropriate transfer mechanism and safeguards are required. Independent providers are responsible for explaining their own transfer arrangements.
Eligibility, fraud checks or reward verification can involve provider rules and automated tools. Where a decision has legal or similarly significant effects and applicable law provides a review right, you may request the relevant explanation or human review from the responsible provider.
09.Updates and enquiries
This policy is effective 29 October 2026. Material changes to collection or purposes should be communicated through an appropriate channel, with fresh consent where the law requires it. The effective date identifies the policy version.
Questions about this notice, privacy choices or a specific interaction can be sent to privacy@critello.com. Include the relevant date and reference where available, and redact information that is unnecessary for your request.
